Thrive aquatics bio stimulant...

So...as you can see from my previous thread, my fish are in QT for the next 8 weeks or so. I'm trying to see the bright side of this so I figure its the best time to get my nitrates under control...I've been reading about Thrive Aquatics bio stimulant liquid, but I cant find any reviews. Does anyone have any experience with this liquid?

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

This material seems to be a form of blended dissolved/particulate bio-pellets. Most all bio-pellets are polyhydroxyalkanoate, which slowly dissolves in tank water into its constituent monomers and other byproducts.

If you'd like to try carbon dosing to get your nitrates down (highly recommended), I'd suggest starting with something simple, cheap, highly effective and as close as your grocery store - vinegar. This article will get you started.
