Please help with Arctic T247 LED's
Hi Everyone, Thank you for letting me join!! I am so happy there are people like you who can help those of us who are new to this Hobby Addiction. I call it an addiction because I find myself sneaking into the living room at all hours of the night just to make sure everything is ok with my tanks.
Then I spend my day reading everything I can find about this hobby One Thing I can not seem to figure out is what setting I should have Channel 1 and Channel 2 set on. I know how to program them, but what number should each be set to? How many hours a day should I set each too? I read something about setting them at a certain %, but what number? I also read that the numbers are not the %, like 5 is not 50%. My Tank is 90 Gallons. 48"L, 18"W, 24"H. I have the lights on top of my canopy. The lights are setting 9 inches above the water and about 31 inches from sand bottom. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Robyn |

this question would probably be better answered from someone on the Ocean Revive sponsor forum.

On my T247s, the setting number compared to the power input percentage...
1 ==> 17% 10 ==> 19% 30 ==> 50% 50 ==> 67% 70 ==> 83% 90 ==> 95% 100 ==> 100% I run 4 of these on my 180 Center pair: channel 1 = 40, channel 2 = 30 Outer pair: channel 1 = 30, channel 2 = 22 That is more than enough for my SPS corals, and can burn several of my LPS corals if I didn't have them partly shaded towards the bottom. |
