Lighting for my new 60g
I am currently setting up my first 60g reef tank. It was a gift from my parents and they bought an Aqueon Modular LED with a second daylight bulb for me. That light works fine for illuminating the tank but from what I have found on it it might not work for corals. I am planning on doing ricordea, zoo's, green star polyps and a green polyp toadstool for soft corals but would like to have a few LPS. At least an open brain on the bottom.
What is a good lighting system that won't break the bank (under $500 as I'm a college student) that will penetrate enough for a 48 long x 24 tall x 13 deep tank? My LFS recommends the Kessil lights or the Current USA Orbit Marine LED. If anyone has experience with these that would be appreciated.

i hear the ocean revive t247s are really good. they are around 150. each. youll need 2 for that size tank. as far as kessils. youll be over 500. the best deal i found was the a350w (which is the previous model that you cannot use the controller) for 259 each. youll need 2. plus the goosenecks to mount them if you choose.
