Which Skimmer to Choose??

I am setting up a 120 g and need some advice on the skimmer to select.
I am torn between the Reef Octopus Classic INT line and the Aquamaxx ConeS line.
Any advice on which is better, preferred or used by members??

I would recommend buying a skimmer that would be rated for around 200 gallon volumes of water. I have heard good things about both those skimmers and would go with either. I personally would recommend this one for you http://www.eshopps.com/products/prot...eskimmer/s200/

I have an eshopps protein skimmer in my tank for 2 years and its super quiet and great at skimming and it has a decent price.

Super Reef Octopus has been good to me over the years. The 2000int should work well with your set up. You would be looking at $400 buck or so new r $300 or less if you don't mind gently used (personally thats the route I'd take).

Between the Reef Octopus or the Aquamaxx I would go with the Aquamaxx. Seems like a better balanced skimmer and gets a lot of great reviews. Also has a good reliable pump.

Both are good. My personal favorite is ASM. They are a great value and work very, very well.
