Best LED for my nano reef?
I have not set up coral yet, but I want to soon. I wanted to know a descent LED lighting set up for coral growth, and fish for a 20 gallon tank?

AquaIllumination Hydra TwentySix would be pretty awesome.

I know, the AI one is kind of expensive. I would just do a quick search on Marine Depot and find something in your price range.

Kessil a360we so when you go to a bigger tank you don't have to upgrade your lighting.

I went ahead and got the AquaticLife Edge. Hope this was a good choice! http://www.marinedepot.com/AquaticLi...FILDTF-vi.html

Haha. I just checked them out. They both look good. They both have good reviews and no obvious shortcomings. So, I'm sure you'll be really happy with that light. Any SPS corals may need to be near the top of your tank for long-term health. But take it slow and see how some LPS corals do first. Have fun dude. |
