bio pellets reactor question?
Hi guys! So I just finish this morning converting a innovative marine protein skimmer to a recirculating bio pellets reactor, I tested out and it works as I hope it would, I'm able to control the bio pellets tumbling inside the chamber easily, so my question is? do I have to also be able to control the flow out of the reactor or does it even matter as long as the pellets are tumbling?

You don't want a raging tumble. You definitely want to put a valve on the return to slow or speed up the tumble

It has been a week since the reactor was installed in the tank and I'm already seeing changes, last night when I got home my protein skimmer was going crazy, it produce 3 times as much skimmate as it would in one day, I think I may had help seeding the pellets by adding extra befeficial bacteria to the tank so far I'm happy with the results.
