All Glass Aquarium Durso Overflow question
For those of you that have purchased All glass Aquarium's Durso Overflow Kit ( I think it is called megaflow, or somthing along those lines); How much adjustability is their for the overflow drain height? I have a tank that is only 16 inches tall and was wanting to know if they will be too big for this height. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

the standpipe is pvc - it can be cut to fit. And FWIW - yes, it is called a "megaflow" - and they should be sued for false advertising. Don't plan on more than 250 - 300gph through it or the noise will drive you crazy.
I'm not saying anything bad about Durso Standpipes - all my systems use them in one form or another. The 120 has 2 x 1.5", the 150 has 2 x 2"

The Megaflow standpipe is adjustable without cutting, it slides into itself.
I'm not sure how short it will go, hard to tell with it installed. |

I have used them before and I agree that it doesn't provide appreciable flow, what I am wondering is if it can shorten enough to wok in a 16 inch tall tank.
