Heater question
Hello all, I want to upgrade my heater. I'm using an aqueon glass heater, and I don't like the idea of glass heaters. I was wondering what heaters you guys use in your tanks? 55 gallong mixed tank with a 30 gallon sump.
Thanks everyone....

While I've been using Eheim Jagger heaters which are glass for the past 8 years, I had good luck with the relatively inexpensive ViaAqua titanium heaters in the past.

Jager heater is glass but they are very durable, I have dropped them few times and never have any damage.

I've tried various heaters, had a ViaAqua. Never failed. Looked for a good Titanium for my SW, seemed to be a lot of issues and they're expensive. Many good reports on Jager. That's what we went with. OK so far.
