help with algae id/treatment

i opened the blinds facing my tank the other day, i forgot to close them for about for about a full day. now i have this stringy gelatinous goop everywhere. im assuming its some kind of cyano, but its not a type im familiar with. its hard to tell in the pics, but its color is pretty much grey, not much green. every morning i blow it off a few of the corals it infests where it develops in long stringy bubbly clubs, then turns into frothy grey scum floating on the surface when i blow it off with a baster. i should have taken better pics before that but i just woke up and didnt think. im sure there will be more photo opps in a couple hours. the sea hare seems to enjoy eating it on the rocks, at any rate. cant find anything that looks similar

edit -hmm. these pictures are pretty bad, dont represent it at all. ill get another when it grows back
also forgot to statw parameters,
sg is 1.025
dkh-8.5
