Three quick questions

1. Can you use plain Baking Soda (Bi-Carb) to raise PH?
2. Are there small tropical mussels available which could be used either on display or in fuges to help filtration?
3. Silly one this, what are you supposed to use to clean the outside of the tank? (glass)

1. Yes, but don't chase pH. there are more important levels to test for (Alkalinity, Calcium, Magnesium)

2. In theory, yes.

3. I use "Invisible Glass" although I used windex for years without a problem (don't spray it on the tank - spray it onto a paper towel

RO/DI water and a little white vinegar also works well for cleaning glass.
