Does automatic frozen feeder exist?

Anyone have any info? I've seen some custom ones around. Very much interested in getting one. If anyone knows where to get one or who can make one please let me know

Just saw their video. Genesis + auto feeder would be just too easy.

I would base it on their model; make it refrigerated not frozen. Basically, thaw it - add Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Proprionic Acid, Sodium Alginate as they do.

Then make a fridge/doser which many have done successfully.

Here is my thawed/refrigerated frozen food feeder. It works like a charm! I only keep enough frozen food in it for a 2-3 days and use it for supplemental feeding.

That is very cool slief! I just might have to mimic your set up minus the APEX controler part

Interesting with the wine cooler. So basically your just turning apex on and off pump for the feed time?

Yep; but I'd make my own refrigerated food - saves money.

Sort of. The Apex is set to run a sequence at a specified time as well as via the feed timer. At 1PM, it runs backwards briefly to insure the food is mixed. Then a minute later it runs forward pumping a bunch of feed into the tank. Then a minute or so after that, it runs backwards enough to flush any food in the line back into the food jar.

Just curious, are those preservatives (Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Proprionic Acid, Sodium Alginate) safe for fish?
