?? regarding spectrapure 90gpd maxcap

I recently bought a used rodi unit. To be safe, I replaced the mambrane, pre filter, carbon filter and di resin in the first di cartridge. I did not replace the contents of the last cartridge because I was told it still looked good. After hooking it up and running it for a while, I get a TDS reading of 0 from the first di cartridge to the silica cartridge. My TDS reading from the silica cartridge out is then reading 001. What could cause this?

It is likely exhausted.

Would it actually cause my TDS reading to increase after coming through the di cartridge?

If it needs to be replaced, what is actually in it? Can you purchase just the resin or do you have to buy the entire cartridge?

Yes, if exhausted the numbers can rise above the input number.

Sure, you can replace the di itself with a mixed bed DI. I tend not to buy bulk DI anymore because it goes bad as it ages. I like using fresh cartridges.

If you have two DI stages the 2nd stage can last a really long time.
