Orange Color Algae!

Tank cycled in 4 weeks. I have hermits, snails, coral banded shrimp and just added 2 clown fish last Thursday.

2 days ago, started seeing a rusty orange coating on some of my live rock and return lines and some starting to gather all over my sand bed. Did not have algae bloom during cycle. Ran cycle with lights off entire 4 weeks.

run my lights 10-12hrs in DT. Off at night.

ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 10-20
ph. 8.0-8.4

I use RO/DI water and just did my 2nd water change about 15% of a 56g cube tank.

any idea what this is? will my hermits and snails take care of it?

is it ok for my fish to still be in during this bloom, whatever it is?

Diatoms most likely.

thanks, I will go pick up a handful of Cerith snails tomorrow after work.
