Buying ATI fixture used - 4 years old

Hi guys,

Just wondering, should I buy an ATI Sunpower fixture (48", 6 bulb) that's 4 years old? What's the life span on these things??

Thanks

Depends on which part of it you're talking about. The fans? Ballast? Endcaps? etc etc

The endcaps should be ok unless the previous owner manhandled bulbs in them lol, the fans will probably need a good cleaning or be replaced, and the ballasts should have a couple of years left on them.
