Phosphate help please
I am receiving different answers from employees in my LFS so here is my question. My Hannah 736 meter is giving me a reading of 27 so when i do the math.
27 x 3.066 = 82.782 / 1000 = 0.082782 Is this reading .082 LESS than 1 and acceptable to most,or 8 and unacceptable.Thanks in advance for your expert replies. |

0.082 is less than 1 but ideal parameter for phospahte is less than 0.03 ppm (closer to zero) if it's a reef tank. high phosphates could lead to algae problems.

+1... on desirable value 0.03 and below. Some might argue/consider 0.05 ppm is okay but in your case 0.08 is just too high.
