Mh 150w bulb choice

running 2 150w mh hqi and 4 t5 unit.

Trying to figure out what others are using for 150w hqi bulbs supplemented with t5.

any input would help. Before I ran just 250w phoenix and loved the color, but with t5 supplement it changes things up quite a bit. so many options.

I run a phoenix 14k 150 watt with 2 blue plus and 2 true actinic. It's on my frag tank. I just ordered a ushio 10k bulb to try out just to see if I like it better. But I am happy with the 14k just wanted to see if the 10k was too yellow for my tastes.

exactly how im feeling, i might try and pick up some used bulbs 10k/14k to play around with but I was hoping others have already done it.

Please let me know how things go with the 10k bulb! Thank you.

Honestly, you may have to try several bulbs before deciding on what you like. There isn't much difference in the Ushio 10K and XDE 10K, with supplementation you won't notice the difference. There isn't much difference in the Radium and the Phoenix either.
