Help! Once again please!
Help me ive been having problems identifiiny this white stringy atuff that has taken over my glass! I have a 30 gallon tank that has been running for over a year..ive changed my wayer change schedual from 5 gallons every 2 weeks to 3 gallons every week...hope some1 can tell me what this crap is..i scrape it off daily and it comes back n less then a few hrs...heres the best pics i could get...and i just noticed today that the stringy stuff is getting thicker in some spots! My water perams were excelent last time i tested!

I'm not even close to being certain but the stringy stuff could be some kind of slime mold?
The long bead looking thing of white stuff is, I believe, snail eggs. |

Slime mold? Hmm thought itd be conneted with the bigger white stuff...since it all started out as string white stuff

I could be totally wrong. It just looks exactly like what a friend of mine had in his tank and the LFS sent a guy out to look at it and said that's what it was.

The thicker ones are snail eggs.

I get this sometimes. To me, it seems to be very minute particles stuck to snail slime. Only happens to my tank near the bottom, and always after the snails have been past.

I don't think it's too serious. How's your skimmer? Good skimmer? Operating well?

Its a hob aqua c remora pro...yes its good...i prolly need to clean it now that u mention it

I'd say just keep the circulation high, make sure you agitate the surface (powerhead or the like) and you should be ok. These kind of blooms happen, but usually don't develop if the surface is stirred.
