Upgrading an old solana 150w pendant orb
I have an older model(2007-2008) solana 150watt pendant orb that came with the 34g solana AIO cube. I know the bulb obviously needs to be replaced but I was hoping it was possible to upgrade the ballast as well. I want to run radiums so what Ballast should I get? Also, is there anything else I should replace/upgrade on this light to get the most par out of it? Thanks!

Can't comment on what ballast to get, but it's easy to wire ballasts. I cut off the stock harness, stripped the ground (green), hot (black) and neutral (white) and used simple wire connectors from Home Depot to connect the light to a new ballast. I don't know if the ballast I picked up (Galaxy) is better than stock, but I do know that it does not hum like my old one did!
