Bubble Magnus review

Here is my review of the bubble Magnus NAC9 this is my second NAC9 both were on 150 gallon lightly stocked tanks.

https://youtu.be/iPDEknDR-Ns

I'd give them 7.5 out of 10

Isn't that a Bubble Magus -- or is someone rebranding them?

Wha?

Do you have it setup to skim pretty dry? I get that much in a day with my JNS

Correct. It's Magus. Never understood the MagNus misspelling.

It's dry but not the driest. It brown and has chunks in it, but you can barely see light though the skim mate.

New vertex pull 3-4x more and it's drier.

Yea, just never paid close attention assumed it was like the Greek name. Magus is correct.

I have a bubble magus 5.5.. I'd give it a 10 out of 10 all day long. My skim is almost Black ( Although I am Vodka dosing ).

A lot of people have good luck. I wish I had too. I would say that the skim mate that came out of my NAC9 was black too. My main issue was how long the motor block lasted and the machining that was wrong out of the box.

The NAC9 is actually quieter than my new vertex (still like my vertex better). Quieter is always good.
