Is this ok?
Have this algae growth (?) ONLY on the inside of my MP10, it is nowhere else in the tank. Started a couple weeks ago and seems to be growing fairly quickly.
Should I take pump out and give it a good cleaning? TIA, Maria

Nothing to worry about yet. It's not a bad idea to take those wetsides out every few months and scrub them down though. Take it all apart and check for uneven wear anywhere. Then you at least will know if a part is starting to wear out and can replace it proactively.

I think Ecotech advises cleaning wet sides every 6-8 weeks and if you have an algae problem why not go ahead and stop it before it goes any further?

Could be that your CUC has cleaned the outside(and the rest of the tank). I've seen one of my turbos clean a powerhead from the look on the inside of yours to the clean look on the outside in maybe 30minutes or so.
