In my 40b I have I know 4 of these guys 2 half inch ones and 2 one inch size.

they are very beneficial worms that clean your tank pretty well at night mostly. most people on here seem to dislike them because they have the potential to sting you if you handle them when moving a rock or something but I however have never had any problem touching them with my bare hands. I go searching threw the rock in my lfs for them to take home to the main tank. I clean their tanks they give me free clean up crews. I brought home 37 in one day before. even that day of handling so many of them I did not have any sting. you will mostly find them under the rocks or inside holes in the rocks and likely you will never see the majority of them.

Mine come out at feeding time and are interesting to watch. I think the bristle worms examine the empty hermit shells more than the hermits do.
