LED Lights
Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade to LEDs for my upcoming 75g 48" reef tank. I'm planning to have soft corals and I understand LEDs are the way to go these days.. I'm not trying to buy the best on the market ($$$), but I'm also not trying to cheap out and buy some low quality knock off.. I'd also like it to have programmable features and etc. I was hoping to get some recommendations on which setup to go with or BML, as there's hundreds out there and I have no experience with any of them. Any insight will help! Thanks in advance |

I have a reef breeders photon 32 for sale that would be fantastic for the 75gal!

On my 90gal, I have 2 48"-60" Current USA Orbit Marine LEDs, with the Ramp Timer Pro LED controller, and they are awesome! I have softies, LPS, and some SPS under them and they all grow well and keep great color!

I have been very happy with my maxspect razor 300 watt over my 90 gallon. Love the control-ability. Having pretty good success with SPS, LPS and softies in my mixed reef.

Just read read read. So many reviews out there, you will get too many opinions with an open Question like that. Many might even tell you leds are not the way to go yet. It all depends on coral, placement, type, and many other system specific specs.
In my experience, I have had success with lps and softies with aqua illumination products, but no longer use them asy main light source
