VorTech MP40 QD on 1/2" glass which spacer is best

Which spacer would be best for 1/2" glass. I would opt for the thinnest one to get the best connection, but the spacers make is somewhat vague if you have 1/2" glass as the middle one says up to 1/2" and the thinnest ones say 1/2"+. Seems either would work.

Thoughts why the thinnest spacer would be bad on 1/2" glass?

I used the one that said up to 1/2" seems to be working fine.
