Kessil light temp?
Hello, fellow reefers. I have a 16 gallon Nuvo reef and I am switching from China LED to the kessil 150 watt lighting. They offer them in three color temperatures but I'm only interested In two. These lights are fixed into one light temperature. There is 10000k and 15000k. Which one should I get? I have sps ,lps, rose bubble tip Anenome and also planning to get a crocea clam. What light temprerature looks the best and what will be the best for the reef? Please help a brother out.

You probably want the 15000k unless you have additional actinic supplementation. Also it is a 34 watt light. 150 is the model number.

Get the A160WE, it's quite a bit more powerful than the older 150 coming in at around 42 Watts. You can also control it with any 0-10vdc controller. I have the Kessil controller and love it. With the 160 series light, you tweak your color temperature to your liking.

I cannot afford the adjustable one, and I don't need a lot of wattage it's only a 16 gallon tank. I will not use anything els to light this tank. With that in mind what do you think, i am leaning on 15000k

Just spend the extra $$ for the a160... It will be worth your $$ and you'll get better growth and lighting. If your going to do it.. Do it right. I'm not trying to be rude but lighting is key. I only wanted a a160 and didn't want to spend the money and two days later just bought the a360w-e and it was worth every penny. I don't know why I didn't upgrade months ago.

Save the $$ and buy the 160, it's worth it.
