Pacific Sun Metis Hyperion R2 any good ? Got one used
Hey all. Quick question... I bought a tank and some nice used equipment over the weekend. One of those things was a 36"( believe 34" really though?, haven't measured) Black Metis Hyperion R2. it is a 2x150... The interesting thing is the individual had 2x250w Halides as well and said he was supplementing the halides with the Hyperion to get more blue and stuff and ran it low power. Isn't this a $1350 light new ? If so shouldn't this have the ability to run over a 4ft 120 by itself ? I haven't looked up numbers or anything, but thought about trying it out. You might think Im crazy for buying a light that I had no clue about, but I got a steal with the other equipment and this was just another item and he wanted it gone at one time. I was going to just sell it and get a t5/led, probably ATI. If anyone has experience with these lights and reads this, please share your thoughts as I am debating what to do.

I know Pacific Sun is a good brand and have some nice hybrid fixtures, just specifically wondering about this model.
