not sure, but i read on there web site one light is good enough coverage for a 48inch tank
but 950 seems high don't you think. maxspect razor is 515 for same light. my friend has kessil 360 tank looks nice, but dont really notice much growth or faster growth than my tank |

I don't pretend to understand all this par stuff or spectrum. And to me it doesn't matter who invites it. A genetic Viagra works as well as original. One your just paying for the name. Also. Customer service. Why would I need that. I want to buy a light and use it. Not talk to the manufacturer all day. 3rd my friend has a kessil and his sps are all dying or not growing. Mine are growing. Now maybe it's him and not the light. But imo I prefect max spect. I like cheap copycat stuff.

The AP700 is 20" L and my razor is 27" L so the meaning is more coverage space for the Maxspect with 48" tanks correct? This is what I'm trying to find out if I should stick with Maxspect. Don't understand how that AP700 can fully cover a 48" tank "side shadowing" compared to a 27" razor? I sure be upset spending $900 and my old fixture had better coverage! Now if the AP700 puck spacing is identical to the Razor's spacing this would give comparable coverage anyone know this information?
