Elegance coral

So I noticed my elegance has bailed out of its skeleton, which I know is a bad sign, and it's settled in a side of my tank with lower flow. Should I leave him in there? I'm under the impression that once they bail out they are most likely unhappy and do this as a sort of last resort before death but it looks healthy when compared to others online... I'm not sure what to do, I've tested my water parameters and have had my local store check as well and everything is within healthy ranges
