Best nano reef light?
Hey guys!
I'm new to reefing and need some help picking out a light for my new nano reef. I'm looking for a light that is in the 100-200 dollar range, provides a blue shimmer, and makes the reef look vibrant. I was looking at the Kessil a150w and the Kessil a160we. I was thinking of getting one (not sure which), but I'm not sure whether it would cover the tank I want. Would one be able to cover an Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion 30l (36 inches of length)? If not, could I just get one for now and place it in the center of the tank and get another light later on when I can afford it, or would that just look bad? I might just have to downsize to a Fusion 20 but I think it's too small for what I want. Thanks! |

I have a 160 and its maxing out on a 15 gallon (24" long). I ran it over my 40B for a bit to see it and it barely, barely reached the edges. I would get 2, or a strip (BML, etc)

Maxspect Razor Nano 16k... had a few of these over the years and they are brilliant for LPS.
Cheers,

Would a single Kessil a160we look ugly on a 36 inch wide tank?

Order two for A160WE for 36" tank. You'll get full coverage and get color and intensity adjust also.
