Algae sheets...
What do you use?
Where do you get it? What do you recommend? What do you do with it? Tear a piece off and toss it in? Stick it somewhere?

Or if don't want to spend the money, tear a piece of and rubber band it to a rock, place in tank. I always buy Ocean Nutrition green, brown and purple. |

It's not the cheapest option out there, but I like it and I believe you get what you pay for:
I use Sea Veggies from Two Little Fishes. It comes in green, purple or red. I alternate between the three. I also use the Two Little Fishes veggie clip for the simple reason that is has a magnate and floating clip. I can put the seaweed on the clip, put it in the tank, and get it back out without having to stick my arm into the tank. I tear the purple and green but the red is in small enough pieces that I use it as it. Just depends. This is what works for me. |

I buy Nori from Meijer Grocery store in the asian food section.
Break small piece off 2x1 inch and toss it in the tank and watch them chase it... For the Vlamingi tang i hand feed it to her as its what she likes.. I also feed ours live plants from the Huge refugium in the basement..

Thanks guys. Just doing some research on a few possible candidates, a lot of them are coral nippers and algae sheets are advised to curb that.

Dried Un-Toasted/Un-Seasoned Laver from the Asian marketplace. It's around 6 dollars for 100 sheets.
I just add a few drops of Selcon and let it soak in. Then put on a few different pieces of live rock rubble with rubberbands and put around the tank.

The only algae sheets I've found that all my fish like even the wrasses is Larry's reef frenzy LRS algae sheets.
http://www.larrysreefservices.com/nori.html I don't buy into the marketing claims but the fish love it. I pick it up at my LFS. I used to rubber band a sheet to a PVC pipe. Easy to place in and pull out. Recently I've switched to using a TLF magnet clip but people have reported that they end up getting the magnet exposed to the water and rusting. Can just use a mag float.
