Purple and yellow scroll coral mounting and placement

I purchased a purple and yellow scroll coral from live aquaria. The coral is mounted vertically and the base is horizontal. Imagine an inverted T. My question is whether to keep the coral in the vertical position, or place the coral horizontally? Does it matter?

Probably not. That's why I prefer to buy frags in the first place - you can mount them however you like and they will grow in to your tank according to flow/lighting/other corals.

I have it mounted vertically in lower light, medium flow. It's doing well there, growing steadily, both encrusting and beginning to "plate".
