Beautiful. Wish you'd had a bit more time, too, on some of the reef inverts---really interesting creatures I've not seen before. But gorgeous.

I've been diving ~12 years. Over 1200+ dives. Instructor Cert. This video is a compilation of over 15 dives in 10 days. Average Depth from 20'-96' foot, and lots of time spent in the middle. trust me for invert and other video content, you'd all love what I left on the editing room floor with 10 hours of footage to par down to 5 minutes of cream video. GoPro 3 Black 1080/60 fps Backscatter Macromate Lens SOLA Lighting Some dood holding the camera that sometimes sorta kinda thinks he knows what he's doing but nah...

Very nice. We're trying to decide between Taveuni and Vanua Levu for our 25th anniversary next year.

Really beautiful! I was lucky enough to stay at royal,davui on the beqa lagoon last year and thoroughly enjoyed it! I especially enjoyed the vast vast selection of acropora! And the shark dive!
Sadly as I'm from the uk and I'm expecting a baby now I doubt I'll be back for some time |

That's awesome. If you ever get the 4k go pro make sure and post some video of your dives. Would love to watch that on the 4k tv.

Great video RockyHeap. Did you use a filter lens or light to still maintain colors at depth?
Something you may want to consider adding to your bag of tools... I just picked up one of these cheap Chinese eBay UV dive lights to add to a video light. I haven't dived with it yet, however, testing it on my tank has proven remarkable. I was actually shocked by how much more pop was displayed by my corals compared to my tank lighting. |

Loved it.
I notice tons of damselfish, but really not too many other types of fish on that reef.

As the OP;
Thank you all from my humble heart........I love to share with others that special underwater world I am fortunate to be able to visit. Gotta dream if before you do it........so I'm planting a seed in you all, it's a big yet small world out there. But trust me to get some of these video shots of the reef critters.........they are a beatch to pull off hanging upside down in current shooting under a ledge getting bashed around by wave surge while adjusting your lighting angle and which lens of three you're packing do you wet mount for red filter, macro, or super macro.........grins. Love it. oh yeah, you're also running low on air at 100 foot down and time to head to the surface after an hour dive. Ah yes Anxiety panic moment while deep and narc'd. yum. If you like my editing and video style here's a shameless plug for Diving Cozumel Coz has ripping currents so lots of sponges and fast superman flying drift dives. note my main video model is my awesome wife and dive buddy of 25 years.....

ok I have to ask. I've never been diving before but do you guys who dive these exotic places ever feel guilty for taking these beautiful creatures out of their natural habitat. I have to admit I do feel guilty sometimes for contributing to this hobby and sometimes think that these incredible creatures should be left alone
