My friend has one ( not the WiFi one but otherwise exact same.)
It is a really bright light and lights his 4' tall cylinder tank nicely at the sand. I think the few reds put out a little bit to much red but maybe it's a good thing.
I built my own lighting with the 3w stars with about 28 royal blues and 35 white ranging from 10K to 30K and I get awesome shimmering and a halide looking color.....

You can get the same thing for almost a third of the price without the wifi. Search marsaqua on the bay.

Is wifi control really worth the extra $200?

I have a similar to marsaqua brand 165w light. I love it. It is super bright. I don't feel the need for wifi control though. I adjust mine very infrequently. They are awesome lights. The downfall to them is that the each have 2 cords on them unless you go with some of the oceanrevive ones with a built in timer. I have 3 lights so I have 6 cords, 3 on one timer and 3 on another, it is way more messy looking because the cords aren't very long. My corals grow like crazy with them though.

Here is a picture of them over my 210 at about 50% blue and 50% white. I think I have them about 14" over the top of the water.

It's not done yet. I just move to a different house and had a frame made for my tank basically so I could get it setup right away but then most of my fish died so my tank is currently cycling... It has 3 Chromis in it lol. I added corals and anemones today and will add my clowns and stuff that survived tomorrow or monday. Sump isn't attached yet, I waited a few weeks before I even got the tank on the stand but needed a place for the few survivors.

I use 4 of the Mars Aqua 165w (actually only 120w operating) LED units on my 90g reef tank and am extremely happy with them. They are dialed down to about 60-70% and coral growth is very good. Another user commented about the number of power cords needed, and a quick contact with the supplyer advised that it is possible with some makes (such as the one I use) to gang up from one unit to the other. Consequently I have only 4 power cords connected to the PC4 on my DA Elite and have set up each pair to start Blue at one time and coloureds at another. Now just need to buy a couple of ALC's to automate the ramp

A bit late but I have got the wifi led's you were looking at. My opinion in short is that they have some issues with the led colours. Too heavy on the red, with some disco effect. Butt what I realy dislike are the main 470nm blues, the tank just looks off. There are only 3Rb led's as a moonlight function.

We use 165 Watt Full Spectrum LEDS on our frag tank. Pretty much the same thing without wireless.

We just have them on a timer for on/off of the white and blues. They were $70 each on eBay.

I have two 24" LED full spectrum programmables. They are fantastic. My thoughts are ditch the WIFI, and go with the programmable. They are set it and forget it. You will not regret it. Not worth the extra money for wifi. It is a gimic. Just my 2 cents.

The wifi was so worth it I'm loving these lights the only thing I didn't like was the mounting hardware
