please I need Help
hi, I'm kinda new to hobby. been around for 1 year
I am upgrading from 75 gallon to 150 gallon. I got all the equipments but still undecided the tank yet. after been searching around i got 2 best options for the prices: -Scaquariums 60x24x24 starphire glass, euro bracing, 12mm=0.47 inch thickness = 999 free ship -cadlights 71.5x23.5x20 starphire glass, euro bracing, 0.5 inch = 1249 free shipping (made in China, no warranty if not using their stand, which im not) Please tell me your experience the two tanks. Can they hold up for many years to come? I am planning to use the tank for very long time (my last upgrade). If these tanks tend to having issues, I may have to go with reefsavvy (but his tank is so expensive and ridiculously nice, Felix surpass Elos IMO and set the bar for the industry) = maybe around 3k ship to my door The reason why I mention Felix tank because, I recently got many new high end equipment for good price: -3 radions pro gen3 -Vectra L1 -2 Mp40s -bubble king SM200 I don want having a nice equipments and worrying about the tank not going to last |

Aqueon usually has sales. Maybe right now? A 150 gallon should cost under $400. A reef ready maybe $500.
You should drill your own overflow on a standard tank anyway. Use one of the synergy overflows or something.. Daniel. |

I haven't used them personally, but I have heard some harsh things about Cadlights.
I'm with scubadan206...Aqueon and (I believe) Marineland are having 20-25% off sales right now and you can get a reef ready pretty cheap. Give your LFS a call and see if they are able to order you one with the discount. |

I was going to go Marineland for the 93 rimless cube and drill it. The seams on about 10 different tanks were horrible. I walked away. I looked at their 150 but unless you go the deep dimension you dont get the width we all want in the tank.
I was in same boat as you with the cost of going custom and have decided on the SC tank with all wood stand. For the 1700 or so I get the tank and stand for half what I was going to pay Felix before shipping was tacked on. Sure it has a center overflow when I wanted external but it is something I can live with for the cost savings on this tank till I build my forever tank. There is a thread on here and the sc tanks look great. Cad lights on the other hand are having nothing but complaints on their tanks recently so I would steer clear of them.
