So ive been cycling my 240g tank for about 3 weeks and ammonia is 0 after spiking off the charts (literally) and now my nitrites are coming down and nitrates at 160 ppm can I start running lights and skimmer/filter socks or should I wait ??? And while the cycle is going what are some good starter fish/coral???

Perfectly fine to start up all the equipment. For starter fish you got clowns, chromis, cardinal, gobies, blennies. All can start in qt so they are ready to go when the cycle is done.
As for coral zoas, leathers, shrooms, hammers, torch, other softies, ect.

Should be fine...
Got drop two or three bottles of Instant Ocean BioSpira in there. Will speed things up even faster.
