T5 fixture ???

So I'm wanting to add a T5 fixture into my setup but have a few questions. Is there a difference between the T5 fixtures that they sell on all this aquarium websites and say a cheap t5 fixture that you can get at home depot. Is there any kind of differences I should be aware of. And what kinds of bulbs should I put in it...dumb questions but probably simple answers.

Yes there are big diffrences between t5 units. Imo ati is the best. But reflectors make a huge diffrence between fixtures, the ammount of cooling, and even the ballasts can all make a good t5 fixture or a bad one.

As for bulbs check out ati and geisman (sp) brands.
