Hamilton 20k vs radium 20k mh
Anyone have any pics of what the hamilton 20k bulbs look like compaired to radiums? I have heard they are supposed to look simular in color but you didnt need a m80 ballast for the hamiltons to get the color.

My LFS just switched and they seemed to be just a slight bluer, but not much. Another lamp which looks exactly like a Radium is Phoenix 14K SE lamps. I run two of them with one Radium and no one can tell the difference. And Radium lamps have done very well for me for the last 5 years running on coralvue electronic ballast. They are less blue than my old Reeflux 12K run on my ballast.

Thankyou for the input, i think im gonna try out the hamilton's this time. I run icecap ballasts but like the look of radiums.

I have tried the 14k and 20k Hamilton along with the radium. Honestly can barely tell the difference in color/growth/par between all 3. Maybe a slight par edge for the radium. 14k is just a tad whiter then the radium which is just a tad whiter than the 20k Ham.
