Bubble Magus Curve 9

The instructions state that the water level should be 9.5-11" although everything I've read says set them at 9". The level of my sump is 11" and I wonder if this will cause an overflow.

Anyone run one of these at that depth? and if not what depth have you found to be the best?

I don't own this skimmer but I highly recommend following the directions as they are usually that way for a reason. I would use some kind of block/rack to prop it up in the sump.
