I'd snail please

This snail killed my fighting conch. What is it and should I remove it?

Looks like a conch of some sort but it could be a cone snail, if it is a cone snail they have highly venomous to us so be careful. I would wait for a more experienced reefers opinion. If it killed a fighting conch is will likely kill more though.

Whelk. Related to nassarius snails (or acutally is one) but are predatory on snails. Sump or trash...up to you.

Whelk. The trunk that looks like it has tattoos all over it is a giveaway. Non predatory whelks like nass snails are solid colored.
