Sump for 60g cube marineland Ventura stand
I'm moving soon and I'll need to replace my custom stand with a stock marineland Ventura stand for my 60g cube (wife's orders) . With the inside dimensions of the stand all I can fit is something less than 22 inches so my 15g sump won't fit. What have poor used that fit in this stand? I was looking at the trigger crystal 18 sump. Don't really have time to do anything custom.

Eshopps makes a cube sump, as well... Aside from those two, I don't know of any others.

Biggest issue with the cube sumps is they take up so much room side to side in the stand. Doesn't give a ton of room for the reactors, etc next to the sump. I may go with a longer, narrower sump so I have some room.

I ended up with an EShops R100 on my 60g cube, but the stand I built allows me a bit more room than the standard one does.

A 20 high barely sticks out the back of the stand. I used one and still had room for an external media reactor, calcium reactor, and assorted stuff.

So the boss approved using my diy stand at the new house if I agree to paint it black. It's currently white. I said fine if I can buy a new sump anyway. So I ordered a 24x15x15 sump that should work out nicely in my diy stand. And if not I can always have it stick out the back of the Ventura stand if I go that route.

Get a 30x30 stand for a 70/93 cube ! wayyy more room for activities and you can fit a 25 tall under. You will also get a nice 6" ridge around the tank since it has a full top unlike the 60 Ventura if i remember correctly. Even I find the 30x30 stand restrictive for all my equipment , lucky im still young and I can squirm myself in the hole for maintenance loll

My diy stand is actually built bigger than my tank so I can fit 24x24 sump if I need to. It also has a side stand that houses my electronics and top off tank. The side stand unfortunately is getting the boot. But I purchased a bookcase that has a section with doors in the bottom. Electronics will now go in there and my top off will get put in a closet near the tank. This at least let's me upgrade from a 10g tank top off to a 32g brute.
