25 micron filter socks

I seam to be having a real issue with micron dust from new sand in my tank. Has anyone used something like this before? Is it even reef safe?

It looks like regular polyester so it's probably fine. But it will clog up fast. The sand will settle given some time, how long has it been set up? It looks like you need to charge your phone.

About three months. I do have a higher flow rate and my tang loves picking Algee off the sand and he stirs it up. I have 100 microns on right now and it goes right threw it. I would really only use them until I got rid of all the fine dust. I have the iPhone 6s Plus so the battery lasts forever .

I agree that 25 microns id too small and will clog very fast. Most of us use either a 100 or 200 micron sock.
