Please help me to know what is this
Hello Every one. I am new in saltwater and reef aquarium. I used to have freshwater aquarium for more than 15 years. But this is my first time with reef aquarium. I have started with a 10 gallon Nano tank. It is now in cycling time. It is in day 5, and I have noticed something starting to cover my living rocks. It looks like something soft and white. Please see the photos and tell me what is it. Is it good or not??? And if it is not good how to take it off????
Thank you.[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |

Mmm. Interesting. Looks more like a slime than a sponge. I don't think it's worth worrying about if you're just starting to cycle. It may die off.

Looks like new tank syndrome funk. Should die off as water parameters settle in.
