Ask this in the Ecotech Marine sponsor forum. They run dead silent so you have something wrong

If your intake is 25mm, that could be part of the issue. The L1 has in the US has 1.5" input which is equivalent to 38mm. 25mm input would cause the motor strain when drawing water which may be causing the excess noise you are encountering.

I agree. 25mm piping is really cutting down the intake size.

The 25 mm might be better with a M1 Vectra.

The pump is in the sump so no pipe at the input , the pipe work is at the output. Does it cause the same issue ???

I couldn't tell you if it does cause a problem.

My L1 and the M1 are totally silent.
Hopefully someone can help.

You need to call EcoTech. These pumps are damn near silent when installed and operating properly.

I'm thinking it may be a little more difficult for chercm to call, then it would be for us.
He doesn't have the same area codes as we do, according to the listed location
