Red Sea Reefer 250 plumbing and PVC cement

I have a new custom size Trigger Emerald 33" coming for my Reefer 250. I will have to redo some of the plumbing to make it work but what kind of plumbing is the gray piping that came with it? Is it PVC and can I use regular primer and PVC cement?

Did you ever figure this out? I have a reefer 250 in transit and doing the same. Would like to have the plumbing ready for when it gets here. Just need to know the size for the down flow pipes. And would be curious as to what you did?

Thanks!

Regular primer should be fine......CPVC and ABS pipes don't require a primer.

Buy the all-purpose pvc cement that works on all plastics to be safe.

You should be fine.
