Upgrading skimmer
I want to upgrade my skimmer from a Coralife 65. What are some good skimmers out there for a 75 gallon reef tank? Looking to stay lower than $300.00.
Thanks in advance |

Yeah that one is junk.
Do you have a sump or need hang on back type skimmer? |

+1 on Eshopps skimmers. I've had 2 of their snow cone skimmers and they work/are made very well. The S-120 is less than $300

I like my bubble magus curve 5.
you could get the curve 7, then the neck cleaner eventually, then a skimmate locker from avast marine... Then you can have almost a maintenance free kick butt skimmer. edit: the neck cleaner wont work with the curve 5. I found that out the hard way.

Can't go wrong with skimz. Those things are pretty beastly from what I've seen

I have a bubble magus curve 5 on my 72 bowfront, works great and I'd recommend it.

I got the bubble magus c6, little older skimmer but I love that thing skims like crazy and easy adjusting. Don't know why I stuck with reef octopus so long.
