Where to mount ATO sensor for biocube 29?

So, recently picked up one of those Smart ATO micro's for my biocube 29. I'm running filter floss in chamber 2 so not really much room there. Chamber 1 I have my heater, thermometer sensor. and was thinking about putting the ATO sensor in here as well.

Any reason to put it anywhere else?

An ATO sensor will not work in chamber 1 as that chamber always remains constant. You want the sensor where the water level fluctuates. Put it in chamber 3 where the return pump is as that is where you will have the most fluctuation due to evaporation.

Thanks for the replies! I'm kind of amazed by how little evaporation there is in the biocube with the hood...

Yeah, with the hood on, I evaporate less than a gallon a week. even still, I'd never go without the convenience and stability of my trusty ATO.

Always the return pump chamber. That should be the only chamber that has any real fluctuation in it.
