Return Pump Options

Hey Fella's

Recently got my hands on a 6x2x1.3

Looking at replacing the return pump with the following options

1) Eheim 5000
2) Jebao DCS 7000
3) Ecotech Vectra M1
4) Or any other suggestions

Pump needs to be:

- 5-7000lph
- Low heat
- Silent
- Fit in a chamber 11cmx40cm

If you have the budget for the vectra it's the way to go over the rest of the list hands down. Others to consider fluval sp series

I have the L1 on my 72x 30w X 24" tall. I run 2 reactors from it too and it's awesome. I'd get the L1. Then you don't have to run it so high.

I am probably going to use a Deep water bldc15, slightly more flow than Vectra and a little cheaper

Thanks fellas

Hows the vectra heat wise?

Reason im changing pumps is because my current one is adding 2-3 degrees to my water temp..

Before I switched from my Reeflo Dart to the L1 and the Eheim to the M1, my tanks temp was consistently in the 80.5 range give or take a .1. Now it's at 79.7, give or take a .1

So it seems to be a tiny bit cooler.
