Marine pure mp2c usage

Hey guys i have a 40g reef, i would like to know howmany mp2c blocks i can use? the data on the site is pretty confusing.

For a 40g breeder I would go with one 8x8x1" plate. I run 2 blocks in my ~300g system. HTH!

Jus 2" blocks available here. Will 4 be enough?
