Garden hose ok?
Hey guys I am setting up some better functionality for doing water changes. I have my RODI and 30g can down stairs and not interested in using buckets any more
I bought a utility pump that will push the water up stairs is it OK to use a dedicated garden hose to put clean water back into my reef tank? |

I wouldn't trust it, but if you're dead set on using a garden hose make sure it's drinking water safe.

Agree with drinking safe and would add to cut off any metal ends so you eliminate any possibility of trace metals.

go to walmart RV accessories section, and get the drinking water hose for RV. That is safe to use for reef tanks.
