Another set back
Have been going g slow and think I understand all the mistakes I have made so far and I think this is another one that I can put most of it back on me me but I'm not sure and need to ask some things. My tank is around 4 months old. without going g into more detail right now to make a long story short about that I was felling better about the water parameters and everything then I was a month ago before I got my saltwater mixing station running and was about 3 weeks over due for the wc.
Just about had mt QT tank up and ready but decided to put the Yellow Tang in my wife wanted and make that the last one that did not get QT first. He seemed great for the first 4 days eating the same brine shrimp diet we gave the 2 clowns and 1 Royall Grammy. Got up yesterday morning and he was dead when I talked to the wife she said he did not eat the night before but thats it he went from being fine to dead is it because we did not feed him right? |

No, there was more to it than that.

Some underlying cause. It wasn't cause you did or didn't feed, or what you fed.

All fish should be QT, it makes no difference to the rest, if you did not QT the first.

We probably need the long story to really be able to hep you.
Infortmation like tank size and parameter numbers plus how you acclimated the tang.... And honestly there's never a "last fish I add without QT that will be ok," especially where tangs are concerned.... |
