Drain Tubing

I have an external overflow box, and was wondering if any one has tried or use this tubing Samar 1-5/8-in x 6-ft PVC Bilge Pump Discharge Tubing as drain tubing to the sump. Its a flexible thin wall tubing basically used for sump pumps.

I've never really seen people use that type and I think most use Spa Flex because it can be used with PVC pipe fittings.
